Thank you to the Carol and Kent H. Landsberg Foundation for the Grant to buy Cat kennels and cat trees. This allows us to provide safe spaces for cats who must be quarantined, mothers and their new litters and cats who are not comfortable in a cattery situation.

Boots to Books Program helps ARF!
Thank you so much to the veterans from the Boots to Books program at Pasadena City College who came up on Saturday, 09/15/12, to clean up the ARF grounds, fix the roof, start building an outdoor cattery, play with the cats, walk dogs and more! We are SO grateful to them!

Justin Hamilton, with Bo Peep, was one of the veterans that worked and played at ARF on 09/15/12. He fell in love with this little girl!
ARF was just awarded a grant from the ASPCA to help with our developing disaster preparedness plan. Specifically, funds will be used to train a certified PetTech CPR/first aid instructor. Thanks to this nationally respected organization for showing such confidence in our plan, our organization and our community.
ARF rescues and volunteers are proud to be the recipient of an Idyllwild Community Fund grant, which will again be used to help with our spay/neuter costs. Thank you, ICF! We appreciate your support!

We at ARF thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for your unbelievable support of our mayor fund raiser. And while everyone was having such fun with this mayoral campaign, no one forgot the reason behind it, helping those who cannot help themselves, the dogs and cats. Your generous “votes” will help ARF continue with its mission. We encourage EVERYONE to join us at the inauguration on July 1, 4-7 p.m. at the ARF House when the new mayor, vice mayor, council members, and cabinet members will be announced.
